HQ and Biogas Plants

Forward Energy is currently developing Malaysia’s first biogas plant that processes more than one feedstock. The Manjung Biogas Project (“MBP”), located next to an unsanitary landfill, will be a showcase facility for the state of Perak, which will demonstrate the feasibility of converting waste-to-energy and at the same time help solve environmental issues that plague the area. Forward Energy will proceed with the next plant in Taiping upon completion of the MBP with many more projects in the pipeline.

Status: Under Construction

Taiping Biogas Project ("TBP")

Developing on an 8-acre land in Taiping, Perak, to process more than 650 tonnes/day food waste, animal waste and organic wastewater to produce more than 200,000 mmBTU/year of biogas .

Status: Under Development (Targeted Commissioning Dec’25)
